We are driving the next phase of data center development by focusing on minimising our environmental footprint.

ScandiDC I Location

ScandiDC I is located in Eskilstuna, an attractive position ~1 hr/100 km from Stockholm city centre, at a former military aircraft engine facility.

Launched in 1939 and operational in 1942, the ScandiDC I bunker served as Sweden’s main military aircraft engine manufacturing and testing facility during WWII and in its immediate aftermath.

The structure was designed to withstand a direct bomb hit to protect the engines, but more importantly the staff and tools. Physical security was paramount both from air and land-based threats.

This legacy is what SDC wants to refine and develop and makes ScandiDC I an ideal launch site.

Within 120km of 4.2M of Sweden’s population.
Strong access to global fibre networks.
Located in a university and hospital city.
Geographically very close to multiple hyperscalers.
